Worth Modding?

Has anyone got one of these little units?

What can they do? I know they are the utter most basic scanners around, most likely using steppers as well but the plan is to turn this blue ray diode I have laying around into a labby and replace the red laser with the blue ray.

Not much info there regarding scans, DMX, audio etc. Not FDA as far as I can see either.
100 mW of red in a big place isnt much either.

Well I mean its just a cheapy simple scanner and its something different to the normal red or green.

I will only be replacing the 100mW red for hopeful 100mW blue ray.

That's what I thought.

Is there any other ones out there for around £75 that is worth modifying into a blue ray scanner?

yeah not worth much. i might pay 40 usd for it but thats still a maybe.

i would say shoot for something with galvos
