i ordered a 5mw green laser from DX about 3 ish weeks ago and it still isn't here. Credit card was charged and everything. Is this normal?

any way i can track it?
 





Depends on where you live. Don't wory about it. I have dealt with DX with tons of orders and it has always arived. I had one item take about 3 months though....but I still got it.

I would say that average time for me is about 2 to 3 weeks....and I live in Illinois, USA.

As for tracking.....Did it come with a tracking numbers? They give them to you if the total order price is above $20...I think.
 
oh, mine was only 10.50 :o

it's been like 3 and a half weeks. i hope it comes soon.
 
I am sure it will arrive, I have had many orders from DX and never has one not arrived. DX is notoriously slow with orders though and ordering the express shipping doesn't help much. An order arriving within a month is good, a month is average, and multiple months is not extremely uncommon. My red and green bicolor laser has been a month and a half now and no sign of it, but I have no doubt that it will come - eventually.

I feel your pain. I hate waiting for packages, checking the mail everyday hoping it will be there only to be disappointed day after day... I'm sure it will eventually arrive.
 
DX is never a fast service, mine took about a month too arrive to the UK.

Just be patient, no matter how hard it is :)
 
Look in "My Account/DX Points".

There you can see if it has shipped, packaging, etc. If it says "Pending, contact for info", send them an email about it, and they should ship it the next day. Once I waited a month, so I emailed them and it was shipped immediately. If think they forgot about me...

You guys get slow shipping! I live in MD, and I get shipments in 4-9 days.

You are almost at the point that you should see it soon. DX is slow but quite reliable. Mind you, when I ordered two of their 200mW green modules on August 1st, I did not receive these until the third week of October. As mentioned above, check "My Account" for your order status. If there is tracking info available, there will be a tracking number listed with your order number once the order has shipped.
 
DX orders can vary wildly in shipping time (I live in Montréal). My very first order to them took over a month, but the subsequent orders arrived in less than 3 weeks. I have two outstanding orders, and one of them is nearing a month right now...

DX is like a candy store/toy store for gadget geeks like me! Never had any problems with the content of my orders either.

Its diffidently normal for me. I buy things all the time from China. Every time I get a package I have no idea what it is until I open it up, because I ordered it such a long time ago. Its like a surprise...
