Now, while I dont like WL's buisiness model, in genneral, I think we do need to give credit to them for trying to push the envalope with soem of their products. I would love to see a truely waterproof laser, and WL is trying to make that (in theory) which with make otehr companies say "oh we better make one too so we can get a share of that market!" and thus evolution continues.
Also, @ justin: you can probably make it for even less if you jsut get a metal tube and epoxy a window to one end and an o-ring to the other with some kind of switch that's got a "bubble" of rubber over it. some of my 5wm laser I had could have easily been modified like since tehy had a large raised button, wouldnt' even need a new switch, jsut a rubber bubble over it.
