Wicked Laser fuzzy blob

Hi, just found an old (but afair pretty expensive) green Wicked Laser. Luckily I took the batts out but when I turn it on I now get a bright(ish) centre dot but with a large fuzzy blob surrounding it. At 1m the brighter part of the blob is eaily 80cm in diameter, so quite large!! Is this a comman fault? Can it be fixed, or is this now dead?

Sounds like the lens is dirty.

Would help to know which Wicked Laser you have...
