It didn't specify.. I responded to statements of "feelings" and reasons people prefer one over the other.... simple cold facts of performance are never all there is when considering a product. "Trust" is a biggy!!!!!.. how customer support treats you and how "secure" you feel about having problems later.

think about when buying a car.... they all run good, but the company reputation carrys alot of weight in an how they treat thier customers.

I know its stupid for silly people to get caught up in feelings..... but whenever you are buying a piece of equipment thats this sophisticated, you want to know you will be given an honest sale and that you will be supported later on and that you won't have to be insulted and pull teeth to make it happen.

People make most of their purchases on "feelings"... even though its not real reliable,....because that is the tool we have learned by which to trust or be warey in our dealings.
Few pay attention to the sales speech anymore if the good "feelings" don't follow.... there is snake oil salesmen on every corner.... supposed "facts" sometimes are less reliable and even a better too to decieve than feelings.

The power of the majician is to make you trust your eyes and ears, and rely on your reasoning skills, then he does his trick under the radar!
 





Would you mind posting details about how DL mistreated you ? Feel free to PM me if you would rather not air dirty laundry...
 
I remember this now from the Lasercommunity they didn't replace a faulty unit, just gave a refund i think :-/
 
I am pleased with my DL95. SUPER email communication all the way AND after the sale.
They report to me that they have some new lasers coming out which will move the earth but can't tell me anything yet. Supposed to be announced in one or two months.

Moving the earth is one thing.. but how "big" will it be?.....

It won't be long till my Herc will be able to light a match at 40 feet "plus"!... but like you said... I can't release all the details...
 
Hey windstrings, when you light it at 40+ feet will you be directly shining at it or will you be using mirrors?

dang, i just bought my 125mw DL. its underpowered, so i think ill get a refund so that i can get the new ones!!

It means CALL them - or email them, let them know that your laser is not performing well !!!! If you don't tell them - there is no way they can fix it for you. Don't hang onto the laser just because you don't want it to go away - get a better one - they are good folks from what I have heard.

Exactly..... they want you to be estatic with your purchase... not dissappointed.... the delight in good PR and positive feedback or they wouldn't be paying for demonstrations and pics.

Holding onto it is only a mistake... it should already be in the mail... the last person I told that too was late my one day with WL and they would not refund.. but did do an exchange.

It would already be in the mail if it were mine.

I'm sure they will give your order "special" attention as to not repeat the error. They sell tons of lasers... there is bound to be a bum one now and then that slips through... that doesn't mean you should keep it.

You PM'd me a couple of days ago about this... I'm confused why you haven't contacted them yet?

Your # of posts are small.. if you complain but dont' take affirmative action to take care of it when you have the power to do so.... someone will blame you for being a "WL plant", sent to defame dragon lasers......

I'm frustrated that this is still an issue?... did you contact them?.... they returned my emails very promptly... don't worry about it being late.. remember, its daylight there when its night here.. some of my best communication was when it was very late here.
 
The trouble with WL plants is that me and Proctor sniff them out to quick but our forum is well established now and growing all the time [smiley=beer.gif] Cheers..
 
Okay - no more plants, or fungi, or whatever - return the laser !!!! 8-)
 
Dragon won't mug you off mate they'll honour what they say all you have to do is EMAIL them for a RMA number and they'll gladly sort it for you....
