why NOVAlasers stopped selling blue lasers

A while ago, some people were wondering why NOVAlasers stopped selling its blue lasers. I asked NOVAlasers and this is the reply I got (NOVAlasers gave me permission to pose this correspondence):

Dear Danny,

Thank you for your interest in our products. You are welcome to post any
correspondence with us on public forums.

Unfortunately, we no longer sell the NOVA Series of lasers in either green or blue.
Because of our experience in testing this product prior to shipping and subsequently
providing warranty support we found that providing these series of lasers was
unsustainable for us.

We did not re-stock our [Unfortunately, the e-mail seemed to be cut off at this point. I think someone may have hit the "send" button by accident.]

Hmmm... I always thought it was due to the partnership with LG that they didn't want to compete. That's just what I figured though.

No, NOVAlasers is still selling the "Alpha" series (which I think could use a price cut).
