What if it's a surrounded by KTP crystals....imagine a planet full of KTP on the surface and a red dwarf that emits at a peak of 1060s nm....hmmmm maybe it's out there somewhere.

Lol! Maybe one day we (humanity) will build a KTP:YAG shell to go around an IR star to make it green, just for kicks!
