Maybe you can make a direct fit heatsink for the diode with a retaining ring behind the diode. No need for an Aixiz module and easy to switch the diode. That is something new on this forum.

Yeah that would be a good idea. Hard to make that at a decent price without CNC though. Eud makes press fit C6 sinks for RE
