Just thought I'm post these pics again after completing my system this weekend. Just got to make covers.
Once my LPM arrives from from Jerry, I'll try get an accurate reading...I'm guessing 3+ watts

Nice set up!! +1. I like how you made it compact. Well, it looks fairly compact for a projector anyway.

Are they TTL or analog modulation? What software are you using?

Is that a 445nm diode just in the AixiZ module? No heatsink?

Lol!! Sorry for all the questions, I would just love to build my own projector. Waiting for the funds to improve...

I wanted it compact but it was rather tricky getting everything to fit. Hence it took several months to build. And the fact I blew several 445 and had to re-align everytime..

Herewith some details:

Main plate: 700mm x 300mm x 10mm (I first used 5mm but the flex in the board kept throwing out the alignment of the dichros!)
All lasers are analog.

Software is Mamba Black by Medialas with 45k Terasan Galvos (not pictured. Have to drill new holes cause I'm out by 1.5mm)

The 445's are mounted in a housing I bought off eb*y. They great cause they have a flat bottom. This I thermal epoxied to a small heat sink.(a pentiumIII sawed in half) Running them @ 1.6A. They were getting hot after a few minutes so I installed the fans from a A140 projector. High speed fans. Noisy but they keep the diodes cool. And they go through a PBS I glued to a newport MM1 mount. Driver is Flexmod P3. Works well!

Lasers are 1watt green. 500mw 635 red. 3 watt 445(2 x 1.5W...will confirm in next week or so)

One piece of advise I'd give to anyone wanting to build a RGB system. Use good mounts for the dichros/PBS. I used my homemade ones which work well.....until I move the unit or bumped it. Working with so many axises it's frustrating to align the mirrors continuously everytime you sneeze. I found some cheapish Newport mm1 on eb*y. It was a life saver!!!!

Those are nice pictures, It looks a little blue have you tried different camera settings? You can mess with them on the computer to get it right... Or does it come out blueish in RL?

That seems like way too much blue. Ideally you'd want RGB ratio of 2:1:1. A ratio of 1:1:1 might even be pushing it, but you've got 1:2:6. Your "white" is like a 50,000K white.

i like how you mounted everything. that is how i am going to do mine but with springs and wing nuts.
