Which scanner to buy

Is this one here a good one. It looks like a good price and I don't think i need more than 20k. Any thoughts?
Also what is a good software to buy for creating beam shows that's not going to break my bank?
ishow, mamba, moncha, pangolin? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I should add that I am using windows vista.

20k are good for beam shows and can do simple images and animations.

if you want real animations you need 30k

Thanks Andy. I have seen the review of the scaneco but haven't heard anything about the pro version. It is on sale right now so it is only $50 more than the eco. I will probably go for the pro. How is your 30kpps scanner working out? Have you run into any issues with your laser projector post completion? What was the hardest part about building it?

Yeah its my birthday in 5 days, and i as thinking a set of galvos would be fun. Seems like a pretty good price too. I'm just stuck with wether the thing you need to run it from your computer will ruin my idea.

Yeah a DAC and the software required can cost a lot. I purchased Moncha but have yet to receive it. The wait is killing me.
