This kind of sucks for me. I am very torn between the two decks. I am sure that the Kenwood would have better sound, but the pioneer beats the kenwood hands down for looks.

I work in Car audio retail.. and believe me... you'll want the Kenwood.

Kenwood is one of the few mobile audio companies that is still specialized in mobile audio/video.

Pioneer has been bought out numerous times...

They've become cheap.

I've had a Kenwood in my car for 4 years, and haven't had a single problem with it.

I know that Kenwood Excelons are top of the line for Decks.
Another reason why I want this one is because of the Bluetooth

I do believe you in this. My last deck was a pioneer and it didn't work well at all when the temp droped below 10 degrees

I hope you can make a decision soon!

You should post picts of the install once you get whichever one in! :D

There is another factor for me too. The Pioneer will fit flawlessly in my car...where as the kenwood wont.

As you can see...there is a cover that goes over the radio.

Since the Kenwood has knobs on it...I won't be able to close that cover ever again. The pioneer on the other hand doesn't stick out, so I would still be able to use it.

Frustrating.

I decided to go with the Pioneer. I shall be getting it late next week.
Later,
ISkor12

Well hey it looks like it will become a clean looking install! I hope all goes well for you!

Edit: Post 444, with my rep power of 4!
