Where can I buy the battery screw top holders?

I have a laser pointer key chain but the chain part, the screw top thingy is broken, it snapped off. I need a replacement to hold the batteries in. I cant find one anywhere and I cant be bothered to buy a new one just for a small part like that. Does anyone know what they are called or from where I can get them? I dont want to get a new laser pointer because they are illegal here where I live and carry heavy fines if busted so Id rather not gamble on it. Easier and safer just to get the cap piece I guess

Pictures would help. I have many of those cheap key chain pointers and may be able to mail you the tail cap if they are the same. I doubt you would be able to buy just the tailcap from any online laser store.

From where are you ? I doubt the custom will seizure the laser. These pointers aren't powerful so they are relatively safe.

This makes as much sense as hunting down a supplier of replacement pen caps instead of buying a new pen for 10 cents.

Buy a new one. They're $1, and customs won't take it.

Im from Australia. They do seize the small pointers also. I got one from ebay for a buck like you said and I read the sellers feedback from others who bought the item and I noticed 2 sellers who said it was seized by customes. So yeh I dont have hopes of it clearing any time soon
