where can an american order highpowered green laser pointers?

hey i was wondering where i could buy a nice new green laser pointer, for around $50-100 with output of true >100mw, and have it shipped to the US without customs destroying it.

By official decree, (FDA and CDRC laws), there are no legal high power laser pointers in the USA, only <5 mW is a legal pointer. You may want laser modules or portable lasers, which are not legal to use for pointing in non-private settings.

If you want to do responsible experimenting with high power lasers, and are equipped with or gearing up with goggles, I can get CNI fully FDA compliant lasers or suggest other laser OEM modules, (at lower than typical distributor costs btw) -Glenn

I have a 120mW green module in a nice KD50 host, actual graphed average output is 118mW, lights matches, pops ballons, etc very quickly, uses a single CR2 photo-lithium battery (easy to find anywhere batteries are sold as in Wal-Mart, Menards, Home Depot, etc) - shipped with case in the USA for $125 (the module alone is $110 through O-like) - The laser is in "as new" condition and includes power graph, instructions, etc - It's a little over your budget, I realize, but it's a really nice, stable laser and would be a great start to your "mid-powered" collection. This may be slightly over your price range, but this will guartantee that you are a happy man. There's nothing more disappointing than to put your hard earned money down on something the ends up to be not-as-advertised, which happens a lot in this hobby (present company excluded of course...).
