What to do with those YAG rods

I have tons of Nd:YAG laser rods sitting around the house. My daughter decided to polish some rocks so I thought it would be cool to add some garnets to her rock polisher. Using a hammer I bashed a YAG rod I had into a bunch of pieces and threw the bits into the tumbler. Not bad if I do say so. The earrings with the purplish hue are some of the polished YAG stones.
