I think that as laser hobbyists we need to find a functional use for 589, 473 and all those other wavelengths which are not used in industry. Once that happens they'll go down in price and i can get to see a yellow laser.
Message to all those who currently own a 589: Find something cool which only that wavelength can do!
And actually, that is pretty weird that the colours don't combine to make new colours. Does one colour dominate the other? I'm waiting on that video, although that probably won't capture it right.
