Update on the ferei w150:
Brighter (flood and throw) than a P7 emitter
P7 gets ~45 minutes on a fully charged 2400mAh 18650
W150 got a solid 3 hours and still no low battery flicker (a feature of the light)
heat didn't become an issue until after ~ 35 minutes running so I dropped it in a glass of water. It was warm but not hot, if I was holding it the heat would have dissipated better than just sitting on the kitchen table.
The scratch resistance of this light is better than any anodizing I have ever seen before.
Pretty sure the ebay seller blocked me, I think he was pissed that I got the light for $25USD ^_^ ebay seller is car_plus I think.
I'd recommend this light to anyone.
If I need a light for anything, this is the one I grab now.

Well I won the two iTP lights on two coin tosses and the Skyline II lookalike was a freebie, so I technically only bought six :san: unless you count the 2 7/8" tritium tube....

I've got a couple more lights now, but I'm really quite impressed with the LD15 as an EDC. Looking for another EDC or two now, for better brightness and neutral white colours. Nothing to beat the Polarion for light output yet though. Hopefully I can take a couple pictures of my collection soon enough, along with all my lasers.

Incendio V3 in neutral? Not sure if AA is a priority, but you're probably not going to see any big brightness jump while still using that battery. This is probably the smallest fully driven R5 you can get (and it has a forward clicky!).

LumaPower IncenDio V3+ LED Flashlight w. Cree R4-3C 337 lumens - 1 x CR123A

AA isn't a priority, actually. I've been considering a couple lights, primarily the Raw Ti or Raw NS from Lummi, or an EDC from Mac's Customs. The Mac's Customs lights can go at least 500lm in SST-50, and it looks like a bit higher on the Tri-LED. Just need to get the funds and time it right so I get in a building wave of the lights. As for the batteries, I'd need to probably get a couple 14250s if I were going for the Raw light, but I should be able to use my existing LiFePO4 CR123s for the SST-50 or Tri-LED EDC.

Got the lights! That Howitzer is huuuuuuuuge, and watching the MC-Es ramp down after it's been turned off is kind of awesome.

Do the MC-Es have a significant ramp-down time? I only have 1 LED that has a noticeable ramp-down, an old XR-E R2 that came with my jayrob 18650 host.

I may have worded it wrong...from when I turn it of, they glow for a few seconds. Also this LD15 is an amazing little light, you can barely feel it when you're carrying it on account of it's size but when you turn it on you sure know it's there, even on a NiMh Duracell that's not fully charged it's bright enough to disorient. My Catapult has a slight greenish tint to it, but it's nothing major. The Microfire Aspheric is DOA it would seem, but the price I paid in total is more than fair, so I'll just write it off and figure out how to replace the LED with one of my new XR-Es. It's been a good day so far!

That's what I mean. The phosphors in some LEDs have a longer half-life than others. One of my XR-Es behaves as you describe, and it's very cool. The phosphor in my ikea LED desk lamp glows for a very long time, at night the glow is noticeable for a minute or more.

Oh, that bright. Never heard of anyone EDCing an SST-50, good luck! I know I couldn't.

Ordered the Fenix PD31.

Can use a 18650 battery.

SMO Reflector.
