Regarding the rumors about the forum being sold and being put under new management, nope. The forum is not being purchased by someone with a laser store and no, the rumored buyer didn't offer to ban me and make one of my detractors moderator instead, he (unnamed) was trolled on redit with all of that. However, I am responsible for un-banning several individuals as an experiment to see if maybe we can start getting along better with less trolling of the forum. I hope that can happen, if this isn't successful, I imagine it won't be too long and everything will be back the way it was.

Let's post about lasers, just seems to fit well here.
