If it really is ~500mW. I will help you break even (pay for laser + shipping to Cali). I'm just not sure how you would meter it first (verify power). :undecided:

I heard boric acid works really well.

It most definitely does. They pick it up when they walk through it and spread it to all of their friends. It eats through their shells and kills them. It is pretty cheap too compared to a lot of the commercial stuff.

Sprinkle it behind your frig, under the sink, under the drawers, out of the way of pets.

Refresh every 3 months or so.
