As you have noticed jetlasers.org (or jetlasers.com) is currently not working or down as you can see here:

Now I wonder when it will be back on? Does anybody know?

I'm sure they will be back up soon, probably maintenance, when I tried, I received a 500 error. You should use jetlasers.org, instead of .com.
I had the same trouble yesterday with Photobucket; they were down for maintenance for most of the day.

PS - You should limit photo size to 800 wide maximum.

Arrrggh, I'm using up precious posts before my 1000th post mark!
Anyways, it looks like they're converting domains. Any link that leads to .org redirects you to .com, none of wich are fully functioning. Pity, I liked the other site. I noticed this this morning, amazed how quickly it took for a thread to be made on it!

When I was browsing the forums, I noticed that there are very strict rules here compared to other forums (and I am on so many different forums) such as the above 800 px width maximum warning or the "jesus don't double post!!!!!" or "damn this guy is necroing a 2 year old thread". I like and respect that. Rules are good.

Anyway, back on topic: Due to the fact that I could never visit jetlasers.org/jetlasers.com, I wanted to ask how the prices would be. I am interested in buying a 300mw or 500mw 532nm LP.


Are 300mw or 500mw 532nm LP from jetlasers way more expensive like 600$? Cause my budget would be around 300$.

yeah, with jetlasers you would be maxing out your budget and then some. unless you really want the jetlasers style, then go for a PL532 from laserbtb, you'll get the same power for a lower price. the quality and customer service with laserbtb is quite good, but doesn't really compare to jetlasers so if you can, i would save up for a jetlasers laser.

I noticed the main homepage of jl is still up for me, but if you try and click on anything, it gives you an error page. I kind of wonder if it only seems like the homepage is up for me, because it's just going on the memory of what my computer remembers the homepage looking like. I'm not a computer guy, so I have no clue.

It would be nice if their site came back on though, in case I need to message grey about something. I can't remember if I have their e mail address.

I just checked the J/L site again, and on their home page is a message that says "MAINTENANCE MODE", and then reads "IN ORDER TO PERFORM WEBSITE MAINTENANCE, OUR ONLINE STORE WILL BE TEMPORARILY OFFLINE. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND ASK THAT YOU PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER."
Hopefully it won't be too much longer!

jesus but so expensive! PL-E Pro 532nm Green Lasers 500mw for 449$, I don't have the money for this! I'm still a Psychology student :(

fixed focus means you can't adjust the beam....
focusable means you can make the laser beam smaller or bigger....

i don't know buying from jetllaser is a good idea though.... you know Switzerland restriction....
 
Hmm so jetlaser do ship the whole think in one package? Then obviously the customs will take it out and confiscate it :(
I couldn't imagine any country's customs that wouldn't confiscate a high power laser like 500mw+, or even 200mw. So I ask myself how people get their lasers from jetlasers.org to their houses? :undecided:
