Well, that R22 IS attached at ground, so there's no problem there - wouldn't damage anything (except maybe the battery). The problem arises when the negative line touches the negative in.
Unfortunately, these boards are even a bit too big WITHOUT a spacer. How would I fit an extra mil in there?
And no, I am not trying to connect it from the top. It's just, due to the nature of the pill, there is a lip that gets a bit closer to the components on the board on the inside....
Anyway, I am designing my own board so that I don't have to deal with this bull**** anymore... continuous on the negative, boost driver... but alas, it will probably not come to fruition.
