Believe it or not, the filing marks on the inside were done on purpose...

If I don't take the burr down (around the set screw area), there will be some modules that will not slide in.

For quite some time now, I use a dremel tool these days. But back then, I used to do it by hand with a round file. (not sliding the file, but turning it)

I'm sure those were the marks you are referring to.

Too bad you didn't say anything. All this time you thought I sold you a reject or something! I never even considered that some file marks (or now, grinding marks) on the inside of the heatsink where the module goes, would bother anybody...

No, they were not file marks, they were deep gouges. I saw the file marks. Looks like whatever you used to cut it got out of hand, or had a defect.

No biggie. I find most of the stuff I buy here is not what is described, ordered, messed up, or fixed in a timely matter. Maybe its just me, I know I create some hard feelings sometimes.

Hmmm...

Yeah I don't remember sending out something that was not in good shape. Maybe if it had some scratches inside, it didn't affect how it would work, or even look from the finished build. So it did not strike me as something that was not worthy.

But if you still have it, message me, and you can send it back for a replacement. I'll cover your shipping too...
