variable resistor value in blackbuck6

Hi everybody,i have a blackbuck 6 driver-,I bought two months ago,but when it arrives it has no variable resistor-I replaced a 200 ohm variable resistor new but they still produced 5.8a output although I have twisted it-i think -
I think the variable resistor must have greater value-help me!!!! thank you

i have mo8 diode and i want set at 4,5 a: yabbem:: yabbem:: yabbem:

what do you mean it doesn't have a variable resistor??

can't you just use the pontetiometer to change the output current?

You are telling us the potentiometer does not affect the output current, correct?

Are you saying you saying the driver arrived damaged without a potentiometer and you added your own? What troubleshooting steps have you already taken?
