Variable laser power?

The driver's low output needs to be a minimum of ~200mA to get it to lase, and ~1.5mA for the high setting. If you get a M or H series I wouldnt go over 1.8mA.

ya, i hear 1.8A is the max. Could I add another 600mA boost driver after the stock one Its only set to 1A. Or running them in a series wont work? Also i dont like the heat sink he used. If you watch the video you can tell there is a gap between the heat sink and the host....
