usb chargeable batteries

i saw a blu ray laser on ebay tht was usb chargeable, and i was just wondering where he got the batteries from (or if he had to mod a usb charger)

I have no idea if he posts on this forum, and if nayone knows what i am talking about ;D

His user name is Skram0 and I believe he uses a 14500 lithium battery (AA sized) with a boost circuit to drive the diode. You can get 14500 lithium batteries here. And here's the thread about his Laser Box V3 bluray laser.

For charging the lithium batteries? These kind of batteries can explode if not charged properly, get yourself a proper charger.

but on his laser, there is a usb port to charge the laser.

Because he has a charging circuit inside the laser which prevents the batteries from overcharging. Read his first post on the thread I posted above.
