You needn't start two threads asking the same question. It takes up space and is unnecessary. They are 16340s.

16340's are very likely the correct 1 and 2 of em eh ? Thanks, doubt it is carried in any Canadian shops so what's a trustworthy site you use for le batteries ?

Also, if you look closely at the first laser, they go in positive side to the back. You don't want to put them in backwards as that will kill your laser. I would ask the seller if you aren't sure. It is better than killing your laser.

Paul, i'm wondering if it's just a generic add showing the positive end torward's the end cap??
Zyzz, I "think" just about all blue laser Thor's and Gattling gun type laser's are regular "positive" to the front. Like Paul said I would make sure with the company. Only reverse polarity iv'e seen are the 532's.

I only mentioned it because it was in the photo. But, to be sure, I told OP to check first before inserting batteries if there is any uncertainty. It is true that most positive tail caps are 532nm green lasers because the 808nm pump diode is case positive, but I have seen other lasers use a positive tail cap for direct diodes too. I have never seen a 532nm laser that uses two Li-ion batteries either. Everyone I've even seen uses only one.

Oh I know:)
These company's just don't seem to make it clear and how many times have we seen them send 2 battery's for a 532. I hope they give the OP the right info.

If it isn't a 532nm laser then it may take two batteries. Otherwise, I would stick to just the one. Most of the 532nm lasers don't have room for two batteries. Many take a single 18650, but some will take a single 16340.

I always take a paint pen and color under the tail cap RED or BLACK to denote POS or NED towards the tail cap, when you have many it's easy to forget.

That is a good idea if you have many lasers built by other people or companies. I do have several of these, but most of my lasers, other than gas, I built myself. I know every driver I've used in every build I have made, so those aren't an issue.

Either of you know if 700mAh 3.7V Fenix brand is good for 16340's ? Gonna attempt 1 or 2 of those. A store is sellin rechargeables for 15 CAD ea

I'm not familiar with these batteries, but they are too expensive in my opinion. 700 mAh 16340s are the highest capacity I've seen that is real for these cells. I would not pay more than $5.00 each for any 16340, though.

I make my + and - marks w/ ultra fine tip black sharpie.. The newer JLs )Pro Pl-E) have it nicelyprinted on the side of the Laser--same w/ yamtaka

That seller has Ultrafire and Trustfire batteries along with some trusted brands. But, I can't help but wonder if they also carry counterfeits. I bought some of those Trustfire batteries when I was new to Li-ion batteries and they turned out to be the worst batteries I ever owned. Their over hyped capacity was never close to what was claimed on them. They were a total waste of money.

I got $20 worth of 'efest'-- 100% sure not fakes.. worked better than every other brand I have gotten (16340iirc) if that was long ago.. they may have improved things..... one would hope so OR they be out of BIZ.
and they do ship to Canada..
