Well I finally completed the Dorcy Metal Gear Mod. Man it was fun ;D. Well I have it for sale. I plan on making more when I get LD's from Senkat. But the LD that I used came from a 16X LG GSA-4167B DVD Burner. This laser uses the standard 3 triple A batteries. Don't worry I have stuffed a 5 ohm resistor, a capacitor, and a silicone diode in the dorcy to protect the LD. Right now it is running at 175 mA. I am asking $100.00 shipped ANYWHERE. I will also back it up with a 3 month warranty. Meaning if it dies within the 3 months under no fault of your own, I will ship you a new one FREE. I have a video of this Dorcy lighting a match INSTANTLY from roughly 2 feet away. If interested just PM me. Thank You for looking.

well he said on laserchat that it was around 200mw, but i will let him inform you of this!

I can HONESTLY tell you guys - you can MAYBE get a ball-park extimate without a power meter - the error ratio, unless you have been dealing with lasers for YEARS yould be somewhere in the neighborhood of +/- 60%. SERIOUSLY ! Just by ballparking an estimate of the power levels - from using your eyes, I hope you are not comparing it to any other laser unless you have that laser right there next to it !

oh man
so many tempting deals!
i've spent way too much money on this section of the forum...
If i hadn't sold all my red lasershades away I would take it right away
I have to think about this one, since I have to buy lasershades again if i get this

PM'd and emailed you last night DEath Angel.
Waiting for your reply.
Thanks!

I'm In! I got it and I'm pretty pleased with it! I sure hope Tom keeps making these bad boys! What could be more fun than a bright red, some greenies, and a violet? I still want a short wave UV laser, and should get a LaserGlow 5 mW blue 473 nm before long as well! ;D ;D ;D ;D
All The Best! -Glenn
