tutorial

The way that guy uses his soldering iron is a little uncomfortable to watch. The only thing i would have done differently would to have removed all the components on the circiut board in the flashlight before attaching the drivers leads to power the laser. Leaving all the components there could cause that circuit to draw and use power that wouldn't be directed to powering the laser and could lower battery life.

The laser looks like it could be a PHR 803T
The driver appears to be a Flex Drive (set to appropriate current)
The heatsink/mount looks like something from DarkHorse

I'm saying i think cuase i'm am no expert at judging items from an unlabeled video in a language i don't speak :D

Overall, if they are what i think they are and you remove existing circuit components on the flashlights circuit first than it should be a fine way to make a Dorcy laser.

i found this video on youtube trying to find a tutorial about how to make a dorcy laser and i was wondering if is a good way to build mine.
here is the link YouTube - Dorcy Blu-Ray Laserpointer Tutorial Complete (german)
:thanks:

I know you have probably heard this before but it seems like I need to post it anyway. http://laserpointerforums.com/f36/t...scribe-subject-not-woot-check-dude-40185.html

The title "tutorial" in the Tutorials, Help & Repairs section tells us nothing about what this post is about.

EDIT: You cant edit the title after you post it, remember this for next time. I see you tried but it wont work like you would think it would.
