Actually, Robert De Niro believes our democracy is at stake and wanted to speak out as Trump's toadies have been there speaking daily. These Republican lawmakers and his children have not shut up for a single day. I'm very glad he did this.

Today the jury has been getting instructions before they start deliberating. These instructions include that they should reach a unanimous verdict. They can convict on individual charges and it is not necessary that they all agree on what those are. They should not convict on any individual's testimony unless that is corroborated by other evidence. We shall see how this turns out.

There was more than 279 pieces of evidence in this trial.

The jury has now asked for testimony from David Pecker and Michael Cohen about the 2015 meeting at Trump Tower. Hard to say exactly what that means.

The jury has now just asked for the entire instructions that Judge Merchan read to them this morning. He has asked them if they would rather have a specific part read back.

The jury has been sent home for the day as the lawyers and judge hash out what will be shown to the jury tomorrow.

Trump has always claimed to his supporters to be persecuted by some "deep state". Everyone here can acknowledge that. He has always been, according to him, persecuted by someone.
