Congratulations on your laser!

without a power meter it's hard to say.

50mw is not a good burning power anyways.

Congrats on your laser, and welcome to your new compulsion! I have one of these lasers. Now I'm not saying you should do this, but in mine, I replaced the 2 x AAA batteries with a spacer (conductive) and a single 10440 lithium cell from DX. The power went up to a measured 80mW on my particular DX true 50 when I did this. The laser has been used this way for more than a year, and still works. It does not heat up any differently either. Now you need a red and a bluray ...

Hmmm ... Post #777

I'm amazed that it arrived in a week. That's like a record for DX.

Enjoy your new toy though :)

Good video Adam, worked well.
billg519'm also interested in putting a lithium battery with a spacer 10,440 (driver) in my sckylaser 55 MW and 30 MW in laserland.
Spacer you used (driver)?
The you made yourself? or you bought it? where?
You can put a AAA battery worn-in place?
Thanks
