If they make the cap longer and the threads wider, it could solve the battery fit problem AND the thread problem on yours without the need for a new body. Hopefully this will be the case......?

Hey DrL,

I was thinking about that just now actually, and yes, that could work, but I would need the tap then to cut new threads in my barrel and the cap would need to be a bit oversized to match.

Which I could do as well, I would just need the tap. I don't have any that big.

That is the only snag I see in this theory for mine.

That could work quite well for those others that may just need the extra length that have good barrel threads.

I need to run out for a bit, I will check back in later this evening.

A modified tailcap may solve the space issues for the protected battery.

BUT,

I sure hope you are sending a barrel body as well, as just a new tailcap will NOT fix the bad threads in my barrel.

As the barrel threads were bad first.

I dont have an lpm but the output of my laser has droped considerably it wont sting my hand unless i sharpie it while its focused to a piont!
