Just showing some of my first heatsinks made on my newly purchased HF mini lathe. Thanks for looking. While it LOOKs similar to other sAik builds, I made it different as to not copy someones work I know how some folks feel about that soo:wave:

I want one! So, can you tell us how much it cost - roughly? Also, where did you get and how did you choose it? I want a lathe, but I don't know how to tell which one is a good one.

Also, is it hard to learn or are you finding the learning curve to be fairly easy? I'd really like a lathe!

Mr. Steele I watched many you tubes I talked to many machinist and begged for pointers from a couple of forum members... the census is jump in there and get it done. Your like me I tend to over think things a bit. I responded to your other questions in the vets sec. check it up.

I figured YouTube is a good starting point. It has changed how we can learn things these days! So not too hard to learn huh? I am very tempted. Thanks for your replies. In the other post you said about $650, that isn't too bad.

How big can you work with that lathe? And where is it available?

Ok, I called my local store and they have it in stock... What was the other things you said I needed? Some quick disconnect and I have SOME taps and dies. What about tools!
