I understand the AAA 1000mah thing. what pisses me off is rechargable c and d cells being only 2500 mah. All they are are AA cells in spacers. cheap ass bastards. You have to go online to get anything over about 4500mah ( radioshack ) and even those are still crap, you can get 10,000 mah d cells online. it's a bunch of BS.

DX often states that the manufacturer has probably overrated their cells.
If the price is right, buy a few, test them and report back here !!!

I don't know. If you BURNED the batteries and captured the heat at 100% efficiency with a thermocuple/peltier junction...
