I did a vid too!
I did a 1w+ hades vid too while I was at it
my vid is only 2.5mb ( sorry about the sound it's picking up my server and I've yet to discover how to drop audio from a wmv )

The reason i did the core before and after is so you can see that the nd8 filter reading is spot on.

having a laser go over 1000mw that you can hold in your hand until the batteries go dead is so cool. I just wish I could see the damn thing so I can aim with the OD7 glasses I have.. truth be told I have fired it off against a wall a dozen feet away and looked at the dot and a 5mw 670nm red blows it away. It's such a deep red fuzzy looking color, your eyes just can't focus on it.
too bad this one is soon to get hacked up to become a night light for a submarine... maybe.
