Did you watch where i tested that the resistance is 2.1 at no load. They are all working. The test load, Is working, all the components are at least

it is the same pinout as most reds. did you discharge the cap? i have similar diodes at modwerx for ~4$ if you need another...
Did you try switching it to case positive? They come both ways.
I have a batch here that is case positive
Peace,
dave
mine are case positive. exact same diodes from same seller. they go up to 20mw consistently, then stay there independently from current. at around 70mA they reach 20mW. even at 80mA they didnt burn out. i tested 6 of 10, all exact the same.
if someone has case negative or case neutral 635nm diodes i'd really like to trade. either a few of mine case positive diodes or some other laser-parts. anyone?
(i simply dont have common positive drivers here and only have 3.7v for the diode)

Toaster,
I looked at mine and I didn't get a spec sheet? Emailed them and they are supposed to send one and Chuck is supposed to call me.
It's not exactly like the O-Like one. It is identical to this one:
New 650-980nm 20-250mW TTL Laser Diode Driver 4.0-5.0V - eBay (item 260633237615 end time Oct-08-10 00:42:08 PDT)
If you enlarge the green picture you can read it says when adjusting the current "Watch Null". In your vid you used the "not Null" LD-. That would indicate the adjustable output LD- is the Null one. Also this page shows operating voltage as 1ea 3.7-4.2 Li-Ion. I hope thats wrong or your 9v may have blown the driver. Hopefully it didn't have enough current. At this point I can't say whats right till Chuck calls or emails me the data spec sheet.
Chuck was out to lunch when I called AixiZ. I hope he can answers my questions, email me a copy of the spec/connection sheet and they need to correct the ebay ad on the TTL off & on. It shows in the pic that if the TTL isn't used "beam on". The description below says 0 - 2.5v Beam off! WTH?
Hope that is some help, I'll post after Chuck calls.
No, its the one from Aixiz_lasers ebay, it is identical to the O-like one with the TTL. The boost is for the project I am.tutorializing
