In the Online world you normal give someone 24-48 hours to respond.
I respond to ORF pm in 15 hours
I responded to Kranznboy PM in 10 hours.
@ ORF. The driver for sure was Not a Short. I had a total of 9 SXB. I pre-wired ALL of them so i can test them before shipping as i do with all my driver "As in i testr every driver i ship" because i dint have my custom Quick Test board in yet so i pre wired everything to test them.
Maybe you should post your picture here to show your setup. It is
Clear that you used
3 diodes on your testload. 3 diodes (EDIT: Mean 3 Setting) on the testload for a boost driver will puts You Under the Input voltage where you have the pot in place which will cause a Much Higher currant output and increase in currant draw. This is a BOOST only driver So your load must always be higher then the input voltage (AKA so it can Boost). This very well could be it. Or you could have had a Loose Connection with the clips/connector you are using. Its possible you grabbed the silicone wire rather then the wire itself or the connector you have on your testload connecting the leads broke connection or could not handle the draw... Ive done that plenty of times. It could possible be one of those things but clearly not a short looking at your picture you showed me in PM unless you shorted the leads while the driver was running by mistake.
It could also just decide to fail even though i tested it. Unlikely but i guess its a possibility.
None the Less Like all my drivers. I TEST EVERY ONE BEFORE SHIPPING.
I will offered to replace it like i have always done for most of you guys even though i know deep inside the driver was working when shipped. None of my drivers would ever ship not working. But i still replace it to make you guys happy.
Kranznboy You need to have some patients my friend. I told you this before. Dont expect instant responses from people. Especially me. I use to be able to do it but everyone works me to death now and i cannot keep up. So understand that iam not sitting on my butt twirling my fingers here. Iam Making things for people so its hard to be at 2 places at ones. If i stayed in from of the computer all day no one would be able to have any drivers to use or other parts.
As most never understand when they contact me they are only usually talking to me and no one else. I normally have at any given time 20-50 people iam talking to or waiting on a response.
So take that into account i think my response time is well within a respected time.
Remember iam NOT a reseller. I HAVE TO MAKE ALL THE PARTS I SELL. There for double the work as a reseller would have.
Not to mention its the 4th of July today.:undecided:
Anyway Like i said in your PM, You can solder the wire back on to the pad and the black cap that is connected to that pad. They are internally connected.
I make drivers and other laser items for you all to have something to use too. With the High Demand that everyone gives me for my stuff which iam grateful for as it truly makes me happy to know everyone likes my stuff its very hard to keep up. But i do my best.
Thanks Guys.
