if so do we know rough power?

if not, what frequency is it and rough ppower?

Yes, as I recall reading that thread a while ago, it barely makes it into class 3b. It's a 4 pin diode with red and IR in one can.Probably ~790nm and ~650nm.

Event Horizon ran his at 40-50mA so it's probably way weaker than a CD burner diode, afterall it's suppose to be a reader diode, so probably still barely makes it into 3b. Could be like the 405nm diode though and be way overkill and overcapable. :-/
