On the off chance that you actually want to look at wildlife/airplains/trains etc and not your neighbor... or worse:
No matter if spotting scope or Telescope - you are looking at 500$ + for a quality product, though a scope will be a lot more compact and portable, and with a telescope everything is going to be upside down, i know a fair bit about telescopes but little about spotting scopes so that's where my expertise ends, but i suggest you look at spotting scopes, and there you may even get away with purchasing something a little cheaper than that.
You guys get worked up every time someone doesn't want to wear their protective glasses, by which they most likely only hurt themselves, but you encourage someone to invade someones privacy? What the hell, guys?! Your freedom ENDS where the rights of someone else begin, and i don't think that's particularly funny.
Edit:
I should also mention that it's highly illegal to do that, and taking pictures of someone without their knowledge and consent is very problematic even in public, let alone in their private space, which is illegal, and showing pictures without their consent is in any possible case ALWAYS illegal, and i will report this to the authorities if you choose to do this, at least keep the pictures to your self if you do that.
Actually, while your ISP assigns you a random IP address, that's NOT to keep you anonymous and out of authorities reach, and your ISP also knows who had what IP when, and they are giving that information to the authorities if you are suspected to have committed an offense or crime, there is much to be considered that depends on the country you are in, but so far that's pretty universal.
I also know that video voyeurism is something the police always takes seriously, especially since stalking is such a hot topic, and such behavior is often linked to less passive sex crimes, and in some states you'll be registered as a sex offender "only" for video voyeurism, in addition to being in jail for up to 10 years. I think you should know that there are serious penalties for that. It may be passive, but especially if you upload any pictures it's not a victimless crime, and there are also specific laws about taking pictures of people without their consent (even in public) and showing them to other people (in private or public), which in any case will be considered publication, and there are fines for that.
This seems insane that someone doesn't naturally see how this may be a legal issue.
And please grow up, you are not anonymous, this is the open web. And i also can get a Porsche for 500$ or below, how useful it'll be will be another question.
What is a O/S PG M44
If I caught you looking through my windows (with a telescope or not) at my GF I would send 2W of 445 right into your telescope lens and I wouldn't feel the slightest bit of remorse. Just saying.
Would you wan't somebody to look into your house with a camera or a telescope?
Disagreed.
I'm not going to get into detail w/ you because it's a "can of worms." Bottom line is, "there's ways around EVERYTHING." & before you open your mouth, keep in mind that no one has to use their own computer
You sure know a lot about this which I find a little strange?
Xaromar from the LaserPointerForums is a registered sex offener?
I think so!
Yes! I'm going to upload everything on my computer & save it! Maybe I'll expose it on another forum!!! Or better yet, put it on Youtube!
Hey Xaromar, I was doing 36 in a 30 today. If you want, I'll give you the coordinates, so you can complain to the authorities. PM me if you want them.
Trololololo, you guys are wayyyyyyyyy too easy to troll lmfao
