Also, I don't see anybody spending $150 on just a host just because it is titanium vs. Aluminum

I suppose it is worth more money due to the raw cost of Titanium - And the fact that is not an easy substance to machine. But $150 is too steep. Perhaps $80 for this kit would be my max.

Maybe I'm missing something, but IMO titanium is very light, iirc it's actually lighter than aluminum isn't it?

Also in the same boat as Jake... love the host/look, but can't spend that much.

Titanium is light indeed, but it is still heavier than aluminum. Also the material I use is not the pure titanium. I use TC4 Titanium alloy, so it's heavier than pure titanium but better strength.

I will try my best to lower the price to around $80. If everything works out this will happened.
