Did you ever have LPC840? I have one but died (ESD killed TT).
I saw the mitsubishi logo near the connection pins .This is genuine? Also see the photo I attached.

Some sellers know the difference, some don't. Hard to say, I'd contact him after studying those markings closely in the photo's to be sure first, or you could use a lab power supply (with a heat sink on it) and see if it produces the power Styropyro outlined for his diode. If I am following that thread properly, his results were from a lower power diode, not the 840 and it failed early.

Edit: Oh, you probably don't have an LPM! The one I had fried, the seller sold me something far lower power than the 840.

I cant afford on LPM .too expensive for me lol .

Im lived in Thailand so If I order the genuien from US .The shipping cost is more that the LD I would like to buy

Edit:I had remember that my old LPC 836 is weaker with this diode at same current and voltage .

About driver,you can choose ax2002 driver,just replace R2 on broad,0,6ohm for R2 is okay,current is 410 ma(price is 6 usd)
About diode,i think ml101u29-25 is OK,it can reach 400mw with g2 ,only 3usd/1pcs,you should buy 5 or 10,hahaha
Good luck for build

Im still in doubt about the working current and voltage to get more than 200mW for the U29(I have two of them xD ).

The Vf on the LPC-840 is ~2.3 volts. It is low like most red diodes. Another good reason to use a buck driver. You can get by with a single Li-ion battery. I have one of these running at 385 mW at 400 mA using a continuous ground adjustable X-Drive from lazeerer. I use a single Panasonic 3400 mAh 5 amp drain battery and it has been pumping out photons for several years now.
