Jerry,
I'm not sure if you misread my post; I only purchased the MegaDilda, not the meter. The graph I'm talking about is the graph rattlehead posted in the thread I referenced, thats shows what the MegaDilda was putting out.  My readings show it to be 12% less, thus the conclusion about the laserbee.
Electron........
yes I misread your post..... sorry... :-[

But now I'm confused.... or maybe it's just getting late... ;D ;D ;D
Are the LaserBee readings 12% more or 12% less than your LabMax ??? :-?

I was hoping this 12% variance was first person data...  :'(

I would like to get in touch with you tomorrow just the same...
I'd still like to speak to you about some other stuff. :)

Electron....
a thought just occurred to me ( it happens sometimes ;D ;D).
That is not his MegaDilda you got from him it is the standard DC200mw Dilda.
His MegaDilda outputs near 300mW.
I have 5 of these DX 200mW Dildas and they are voltage dependent/sensitive.
I purchased my first DX200 Dilda with standard CR2 Panasonic Batteries and it
output about 160mW. Then I got some 800ma CR2 rechargeables and the output went up to 213mW.
When the batteries are used for a while.. the laser's output starts to drop as well.
Did you test your DX 200mW Dilda with freshly charged batteries. :-?

YES it is the MegaDilda I purchased from him, I also have a few regular ones from DX to compare with.

My apologies to you Electron... of course you are correct. It is obviously the MegaDilda that you have:-[
Sorry to sound so contradicting yesterday. :-[
I just figured it out... :-? I feel like such an an #ss. :-[
I must have been drunk yesterday... I was looking at the wrong Graph and must have been cross-eyed. :p
I see that I need to be more meticulous in reading the information presented in front of me. ;)

Jerry, I purchased Rattleheads Laserbee I a couple of weeks ago. When it powers on it says...LPM T5 288. Is there something else you need to know about it?

Winning bid: US $316.45

it is still too much for me. Hope I can save up money for more laser and meter I want.

just for future reference? could you use one of these heads with a laserbee meter?

No... you can't use a calibrated head with the LaserBee I.... The raw output is too low to be usable
with the LaserBee I.
Although a head like a Scientech 360001 would work because it's raw output is high enough for the
LaserBee I to use.

In theory....yes it could increase the range...

The problem is that the LaserBee I Firmware and PCB electronics was designed to
only go to 1050mW.

To read higher powers using a Scientech Head... would require a redesign of the
Firmware and PCB Electronics. :)
