JUST a few quick comments about my experiences with the Surplus Shed and Fred.
I have always been very happy with every transaction I have had with this Maidencreek/Fleetwood, Pa. based company. I have yet to find anybody that does not agree.
Fred is a hands-on operator- he responds to emails quickly and even calls back personally to answer questions.
The E-store is easy to navigate with accurate discriptions and great photos of every item they offer. And the inventory is huge with a lot of items you may not find elsewhere.
(from SS store site); quote...
"Surplus Shed buys, sells, and trades government and other surplus and used optical and electronic items.
Expect to find aerial cameras, telescopes, lenses, mirrors, prisms, boresights, borescopes, microscopes, electronic test equipment, beamsplitters, achromats, eyepieces, optical flats, mirror blanks, lens blanks, filters, and other optical and electronic stuff... and all available at a fraction of the original cost! "endquote
Rather than try to make a bigger list I suggest you just go to the site and have a good look around.

Its a great idea to sign up for thier newsletter so you will know about the many special prices, closeouts, and deals.
They have a reasonable shipping policy- one charge ($5)ships your entire order no matter how big or heavy.
The toll free # for US is 1- 800-78-7758 .
They also have a VIP club worth joining ...
SURPLUS SHED VIP MEMBERSHIPS - Surplus Shed
...especially if you will be getting a lot of items but not necessarily at the same time.
You get two free shippings per month and a 10% discount. The one year membership($49) can pay for itself very quickly and you get an advance sneak-peek at new items too. Once you make your first purchase all your shipping info is there so no need to re-enter it every time. They allow returns for full refund [less shipping] no questions asked if done within 10 days.
Thanks Fred--
