So i bought a standard looking dpss 150mw green laser module from Ebay and it arrived yesterday and when i hooked it up to a 3v power source and instead of a nice clean output there is a green haze of freckles around the spot like this: imgur: the simple image sharer here is the actual dot imgur: the simple image sharer
its hard to see the haze from the photo but its really annoying in real life and can be seen around the dot from over 30m away. I have tried cleaning the lenses and it didn't make a difference. The unfocussed bean looks like a green golf ball. Is there anything i can do? Should i request a refund or replacement?

In the photo it looks normal but spill around the dot is really bright and spreads little spots of green
everywhere

I believe the internal lens is dirty. If you only clean the outer lens and it stays the same then it must be one of the inner lenses. Ask for a replacement. Green lasers aren't easy to take apart.
