Spartan 1w and light scatter

It may have something to do with taking the batteries out because i think thats when I noticed mine. tomorrow im going to use an air compressor and blow it out. i hope that will help.

I have no idea either. But the patterns look almost identical to condensation. It may have even been there from manufacturing or shipping.

Mine was not like this when i first got it though, something changed. If I can't get DL to repair it, I may try and dissemble it myself and buy separate parts.

@Fenix - It's probably got to do with cleaning it if all the streaks are in one direction.

@Spartan - It has to do with the lens if the dot is ugly, not many other possibilities, other than the diode window is dirty. Also when condensation dries it can leave stuff on the lens and make it look like it's always has condensation on it, it could have got cold during the night and condensated in the morning like grass does, you didn't know it and it dried.

That's what I thought but it still looks identical to condensation. I'm hoping compressed air will help.

I'm starting to wonder if the 'crooked' feature on my laser cause a back reflection from the laser hitting the edge of the front cap, then reflecting back to the lens and causing damage. It's not going away.

You mean that it's off center a little? Mines like that too. But it's nowhere near hitting the cap. And even then it's matte black paint.
