I think my camera picks up blu-ray pretty decently. some smoke from about 5 matches was added to the room so make it stand out better

Good pics, beamshots are always appreciated.

But to be honest, the pics are fairly fuzzy... It's a phone camera, isn't it? :-/

your camera does capture the color quite well, bluray is a great color

Most cameras do that. The camera probably doesn't like taking pics in low light conditions.

no it's a older sony cyber shot :-[ I don't have a phone with a camera :'( 7.3MP would be a lot for a phone right? (they were scaled down to 1024x1280 in photobucket)

Nice pictures, were you holding the camera in your hands or was it on a tripod?
I always use picture resizer from windows, it's very easy to use.

the grain from the pictures is a result of high ISO (used to amplify the image sensor signal when it's very dark) unfortunately it's like turning up the volume on something very quiet, you amplify the signal noise and static as well.

i was holding it, i don't have a tri pod :'( it was a cheap little camera so i think it was good for the price

The good thing with cheap cameras is that that they pick up deep violet very well for our sakes (as purple) and they make NIR lasers seem a very bright white. Generally, more expensive camera usually can't even pick up violet so it comes up as a very dim blue dot, and with even more expensive cameras NIR comes up as a dim red.
