Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

Awesome :D

these are really good EDC lasers :)

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

I still have a handful of these left.

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

Trudt me guys you want one. Class 4 without as much of the excessive danger asociated with 1w. These things are so tiny also, battery life usnt bad either! Seems to run at full power (no lpm) all the way until the battery is dead (goes straight from full to dim, no slow power drop). This laser will also burn just about anything, I lit many fireworks from 10 feet back with this thing focused. And that was with my hands stableising it, no stand ir tripod, with one of them this thing would be a monster. Be sure to get goggles. My green ones just don't cut it with this thing.

Thanks for the great laser Yob!

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

Thank!, Glad you like it. These really are sweet little lasers. Many of them are 600mW. I brought some out to a fireworks show and turned it on AFTER the show was over. I was approached by probably 20 people asking what the hell it was and wanting to buy one. Wish I had a card or something. I could have made a lot of people very happy.

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

well here in aus (i got it over here without the flashlight parts) you would probably gotten arrested in an instant, both for the fireworks and the laser lol. but yes the beam is amazing and it seems that if i use it for a while my eyes start seeing it as blue not purple, just takes a bit of exposure.

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

We have fireworks shows all over the US on 4th of July. As long as they are legit nobody get's arrested for them.

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

yea i know. i just missed it too. left on the 2nd for Australia. me and my family had our own mini one on the 1st tho :P. also, what voltage dose this laser experience the drop in power? i would like to possibly put some weaker batteries in it to achive a lower power rater than actualy modding the hardware (what driver btw?).

These are sweet hosts at an awesome price! :beer: It would cost that much to buy the diode, host, and heatsink. Here you have that, plus the driver, module, AR coated lens, and its already built!!! Id buy one if I didn't already have a few.

I love these things so much I made a set:

DSCN3048.jpg

445nm = 471mw
660nm = 288mw
405nm = 716mw

It's also a steal for noobs because of how small these hosts are. Not the easiest build because there is very little room.

hey - i got a quick question. I've PM'd yob about the 1.2...but - would this laser let me keep it on for more than a couple of minutes? I sit on my balcony and smoke cigars for extended periods...and am wondering if this would be the better of the two to get to point at the sky and have fun without overheating...

You might think so because of the lower power but I find the 1.2W stays cooler.

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

Just wondering how many of these you have left...

I lost my last two 445nm diodes to ESD before I even added voltage to the builds :(,

So, I may be looking to buy one of these from you so I could have
a new, working (important part) 445 to add to my collection.

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

These are neat little lasers. The one I got from Yob does all the standard tricks, and come with a bright beam. Its quite the handy little thing to carry with you.

Now.. onto impressing some of the ladies..

Thanks Yob!

About 2 left. Then they will be gone for good.

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

Any chance of getting one with a copper heatsink?

And is the lens a G1 or Aizix?

Re: 500mW 445nm Tiny Blue Lasers $99

Aixiz, also the only copper one I had I gave to my sister. She is enjoying it in Hawaii.
