SOLD: (UPDATED) Custom Polished - Silver/Chrome, 635nm @ 450mW Build

Re: FS: Custom Polished TR-801, 635nm 400mW Build (+ 4x Samsung 18650s)

EDIT: Price lowered to $225, and paypal link added. It's still OBO, but the asking price PP link will be active until the item sells, or I take the link out and mark the thread sold.

Feel free to make offers (that's why I put it up as OBO :))

just wondering... what are the beam specs on this thing

θ// Beam divergence angle (parallel) CW, Po=300
Min/Typ/Max: 1 7 13 °

θ⊥ Beam divergence angle (perpendicular) CW, Po=300
Min/Typ/Max: 25 35 45 °

That really is awesome... I like the gold band near the focus ring.
Would totally buy it if I hadn't just bought a red diode to build my own. O_o

Thank you :)

I'll try to take some better photos later this week (if it isn't sold by then that is). I realize that those photos are a little blurry and low quality.

Re: FS: Custom Polished TR-801, 635nm 400mW Build

could you possibly save this for me? I'd love to add this red to my collection.
It would only be a week and a half max.

Hey,

Well, I'm not in a rush to sell it, and I'm not going to drop the price, so in that respect, sure!

Though if someone hits the PP link for asking price, it'll end up selling. But other than that, I have no issue with it selling a week from now. It's looking pretty cool on my shelf for the time being :)

Cheers

Nice build again

Rhd, do you know when you start selling your 445nm Mosquito modules... :o

Hey,

To be honest, it occurred to me that DTR sells 1W 445 modules utilizing flex drives for $87. That's about the price I would be needing to sell my mosquitoes at here for them to be viable. Since mine are linear not boost, I just can't imagine that they would present a value proposition competitive with DTRs modules at the same price. So long story short, unless someone really wants a linear 445 module, I'm not going to actively try and sell them. I'll just encourage people to check out DTR's stuff.

:( I wanted one.
I suppose i can always buy and slap a blue on a V5 but that's lottery to get a 1>, 1=1, or 1< (high efficiency diode). With yours, i had the comfort it was going to be = 1200mw.

Re: FS: Custom Polished TR-801, 635nm 400mW Build

Well, don't quote me on this, but DTR advertises his as 1W, and that's probably all I was going to advertise mine as too.

So I think at the same price, you'd get more value from DTR. That said, I do have them for sale if you really want one.

Re: FS: Custom Polished TR-801, 635nm 400mW Build

FWIW, I just got a new lpm today, and this build is LPMing substantially higher (500mw+)

I'm oddly finding that the Ophir lpms high wavelengths higher, and low wavelengths about the same, as my laser bee.

Going to have to corroborate this with anther test in the morning. Perhaps nobody buy this before then.

Re: FS: Custom Polished TR-801, 635nm 450mW Build

Ok, so I've just run a few more tests with my new Ophir sensor.

This peaks at above 525mW, and then settles down at 450mW. Title updated to reflect the low end of that range.
