Jack over at Opto can get you a highly overspec 150mW pen doing about 190mW for $260. They have a very short duty cycle (maybe around <30 seconds on, 1-1.5min off) and no warranty however. Jack said he's been using an overspec 150mW pen at 210mW for almost a year (I think), so they don't die very rapidly as long as you respect the duty cycle.

I don't think any pens are certified, unless the FDA changed their standards. Last i heard you needed a 3(?) second delay start-up, an aperture shutter and a key switch. Could be wrong though.

I dont really want an optotronic pen just for the simple fact that the host is the new wish style and I simply hate it. cni pens appeal more to me!!!
how does dragon lasers get them shipped to america?

I Just recieved my 100mw rayfoss today!!!! Damn exciting i must say. Fastest shipping ever! Loving it. Everything works great. came with battery, charger, and original case. Couldnt have asked for more. Great deal here. Thanks WretchedMerc!
