Re: New host/Heat sink $10 shipped.

ah but it's so cheap! Can you afford NOT buy one at this price?

lol

My metal should be here today the 18th. It hit kansas city on the 17th, which means it's 1 day from deliver usually.

I'm gonna hit these kits hard as i want to get them finished. I start paramedic school on oct 5th and have no idea what the workload is going to be.

Surely if rkcstr can go through medical school and still play with lasers, then i shouldn't have a problem.

Could you reserve me one kit and I'll let you know by tomorrow if I could take it? I only say reserve in case some people order 8 kits or so at a time.

DTR posted a review of these. It's up in the review section with a link to it in the OP.

Re: 2x Host & Heatsink for only $15

Do you think in would be possible to take out the internal side clicky and spacer and then mod it to fit a green module?

(I mean that I would do this once I purchased the basic host/heatsink)

I know it might take some imagination and work, but even if that could be done to fit a green module, then would 3 x AAA or 3 x 10440 be able to run a 50mW module from O-Like or a module like that?

I would say there is definitely enough room to do this. You'd just have to find a way to keep the clicky switch in place.
You could probably just drill a hole right through the spacer.

These are no longer for sale as of now. aside from toke, DTR, and digger, i am no longer taking orders for these hosts.

I've contacted the "regular" shops we all know of to sell these off in bulk. So you'll have to wait for them to appear and get the kit from them if you want one.

Glad you got them moved to pay the vet bill.
I was considering getting 2 more as soon as I got my 1st 2 in hand.
I'd had a better idea of what I had to work with space wise.
At least I have 2 Blues that will probably be here tomorrow. lol

They're not sold yet. Only one shop has replied so far. I just don't want to be selling them, that way the shops can sell them.

Got mine today, these arent ugly IMO. Matt does a fine job on the heat sinks!
Anyone who didn't get a couple of these missed the boat for the price of a host, heat sink and belt holder. :na:

I posted the link for stontek's page in the OP.
This is currently the only place to purchase these kits.
