*SOLD OUT* >150mW mini red lasers for $63

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63

Just got mine today (quick shipping)... All I have to say is I am blown away not only by the power but the quality of this home built. Mine was tested at putting an average 240mw peaking at 270 or something, and for less than $70 this is one heck of a buy.. You should really think about making more of these I know I would pick up another one.

Well I hope it lasts. This first batch of lasers have had extremely high output/current and so a few of them have seen an early death. The next set of lasers I make will have resistors added in to bring the current down, I will also be using AMC7135 circuit boards on many.

Even if it makes between 140-160mw its still a dam good deal considering the cheapest high powered red I can find is wicked lasers pulsar crap at $200.

I dont suppose you could make a blu ray in that housing for $150ish I am sure that would be a heck of a seller, you could probably sell them on ebay for $200+ but of course you have to offer us LPF members a discount ;)

You can expect to see a few Blu-ray lasers in a nice small housing using a single AA battery here in the next week or so.

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63

how powerful will the bluray lasers be and how much will they cost?

Can't wait! ;)

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63

If the price is reasonable count me in for a blu ray.

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63

would you be interested in trading one of these for my old psp and 2gb memory stick?

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63

well i found this laser from luke via ebay, it was a great deal but was an led when it arrived. i contacted luke with what happened and a picture. he shipped me out another the next day. i got that one and it was also an led. i never got more than 10 sec's out of the second one. he said that he has now revised the driver because they were overpowered. luke sent me a full refund because of my hassles and i greatly apprieciate that. i want to let everyone know this seller is honest and has great service!

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63

nvm i just noticed that you were out of the reds

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63

Thanks nhoj_yelbom. That is correct. The next batch of red burners will all be regulated to a much more moderate current. This first batch has been really fun to burn things with as they were all >200mW but the lifetime has not been that great for some. Hopefully you will stick around the forum as there is a lot of information about lasers here. I am glad that you think I provide great service as I strive to do so, now it is time for me to provide great lasers as that is my goal which I feel I have fallen short of in this case.

Re: >150mW mini red lasers for $63

yobresal, what is the expected power of the second batch of red lasers, and will they be adjustable.

Last question what is the laser's max range
