This. I purchased a 500mW 532 torch/crown/stick (all the same), this model often varies in output stability and unfortunately (if I remember correctly) the output varied from 350mW to 480mW. Basically it can be a real gamble when you purchase this model. I've seen one member with a 500mW model that did 700mW and then there was mine that didn't even do the minimum 500mW.

The same thing goes for most of the models infinitus has here. So when a trusted member like infinitus can give a confirmed output power most are willing to pay a little extra so we know what we're getting.

Personally my experience with higher powered greens has been consistent in that they are unstable. Extremely, frustratingly unstable.

This one is no exception in that regard, but it is consistent in its inconsistencies. On a fresh battery it will always peak at well over 500mW, and generally stay ~500mW for the first half minute to a minute. After that it's a roller coaster ride.

I had three similar lasers. Another o-like stick, that performed the same, but lower output. higher ir content % and thicker beam. O-like crown upgrade, that peaked at over 600mW, but again same thing, and now it's kind of broken :(, and a dinodirect that did hit over 600mW, but with a really really bad beam. This is the best of the four, and last one still standing so to speak. (Firedragon sold, other stick sold, crown, hopefully lazeerer can fix.)

At some point I'll bite the bullet and get a much nicer laser from jetlasers... but that will have to wait since it's more than double the price of these.

The 200mW Skylaser, 500mW Stick, and 200mW Classic are sold.

The 150mW pen, 300mW WL Krypton, and 1.2W Mini Monster are still available.

I may also add a 400mW 635nm to the sale, any interest?

Sorry guys, I'm just not making it to the post office today. Just noticed it's 5pm... crazy day.

All lasers are packed and ready to go in my car, so will go out tomorrow morning around 8-9am. I will send tracking numbers shortly after. Sorry for the delay.

@Landon499 - Saying my friend did it no longer works as an excuse past pre-school. Not saying every post needs to be contributory, but you will quickly find yourself with a lot of neg rep if you post things like "Hmm, Yah, Cool, Thanks, Wow Awesome," etc,.

No problem. :) It's the holidays anyway, it's going to take a few weeks no matter what :crackup:

I feel bad for the guy that bought the skylaser... meant to ship it saturday. 100% going to swing by post office tomorrow, short of apocalypse. I understand that's not scheduled until the 22nd though :p

@IE - I really meant "fortunately" because Right now I must resist buying. I really want a ~1W 455nm laser but that CNI is really nice. I can't really decide which one I should buy next.

If someone wants to buy it then there is no need to reserve it for me. I really don't have the money right now. Its not easy to be broke. :(

Nope, even with the apocalypse I'm gonna expect that skylaser to be shipped.
